A Domesticated Landscape

The Domesticated Landscape – A story of the human relation to the environment. Most things humans do are in some way devastating for the environment, we do it for ourselves, without considering the effects. We strive to control everything, tame the landscape, the weather, really everything, fit it for our needs, our ideas. Sometimes we borrow, the nature takes back. Leave it and the human tracks are gone, hidden. Some things can’t be returned. Humans tend to create our own nature.

Everything is not ugly, broken or bad. Initially it was, but after a a while the nature seem to heal a lot of the wounds. The domesticated landscape become it’s own again, a wild landscape.
